I had interviewed several designers before finding Laura. They all seemed to design for themselves - not me. When Laura visited our home she was very professional and asked question about colors, how we used the room, furniture styles and budget. She listened intently and took copious notes and only a couple of days later presented her plan with colors and furniture arrangement. I had planned on doing only one room, but she just seemed to get what I wanted. Everything was on time and within our budget. We ended up doing 4 rooms together. I highly recommend Laura and her work at Redecor.

A close friend of ours recommended that we call Laura Cannestra at Redecor for an estimate to redecorate home. After a consultation appointment with Laura, we decided to hire her to update our master bath, bedroom and living room. We found working with Laura a pleasure. She was efficient, creative, met every deadline, and most important was conscientious of staying within our budget. She did an outstanding job.
Our out-dated spaces are now charming, comfortable and of most importantly beautiful. It is great knowing that we didn’t have to spend an enormous amount of money to up date the three areas that so desperately needed a new and updated look.

I found Laura after interviewing several other designers, she was by far the most tuned into working with real people. She told me that our home was “not a model home in some new home development” and we should feel comfortable living in our home and it should work for our life style. This sold me on her!
Together we explored what changes we needed to make to create our perfect living space. We remodeled the bathrooms, updated the kitchen, new windows, doors, crown molding and drapes and refaced the fireplaces. One of the biggest changes was our new wall colors... what a huge difference that made!
She also helped us with new furnishings. We decided to use several pieces of our existing furniture, but added some to update our look. Couldn’t be happier. I would recommend Laura, she’s easy to work with and makes the remodeling process as fun as it can be!

Let me begin by saying, Laura Cannestra's services are fabulous. My husband and I have worked with Ms Cannestra now for over three years. She has helped decorate almost every room in our home. We both highly recommend her for her skills and taste. Ms. Cannestra has always been quick to respond to calls and emails. She is always punctual for appointments. She respects her client's time.
She is always respectful of her clients' budget too. Her services are very affordable. I never thought I could afford an interior designer, yet I didn't trust my taste or color selections. Ms. Cannestra has always been respectful of our taste. She doesn't try and impose her taste on her clients. Ms. Cannestra definitely has an eye for color also. She doesn't discard everything in a room or house, but rather works with what the client already has. Then she accompanies the client on shopping trips to make any selections needed to complete a room. She shops at consignment stores and other very affortable stores to complete a room's decor. When we had painting and other significant work done in our home, she came every day, sometimes more than once a day, to check on her sub-contractors. She made sure their work was done well.
I have recommended Ms.Cannestra to friends and neighbors. I think what I enjoy most about Ms. Cannestra is her personality. She is friendly and very caring about her clients. She just doesn't "stage" a house, but rather makes a house a real home.
